My Mission
I love a black wedding dress. It's useless to send models out on the runway to cry. I love the 2000s because everyone started to love haute couture. Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening. Sometimes incompetence is useful. It helps you keep an open mind. I like the body. I like to design everything to do with the body. I would like to be a one-man multinational fashion phenomenon. It's hard to balance everything. It's always challenging. Today, I'm very happy.
My Approach
Fashion fades, only style remains the same. My relationships with producers or photographers - these are relationships that took years. You have to stay true to your heritage; that's what your brand is about. In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different. Instead of buying six things, one thing that you really like. Don't keep buying just for the sake of it. I do not have one theme for each season, I just try to make beautiful clothes all year round. Give me time and I'll give you a revolution. In a meat-eating world, wearing leather for shoes and clothes and even handbags, the discussion of fur is childish. I am convinced that you don't need to spend a fortune to look like a million. I am not interested in the past, except as the road to the future.
Fashion is made to become unfashionable. The only way to do something in depth is to work hard. You cannot be creative with people around you. You have to always work against what you did before, and even against your taste. I design from instinct. It's the only way I know how to live. What feels good. What feels right. What is needed. Give me a problem and I will approach it creatively, from my gut.
